Our Team

Principal Bell is the proud principal of Sweeney Elementary School. His passion for education was ignited during his time at Zumbrota-Mazeppa Public Schools, where he often volunteered for programs supporting younger students academically and athletically.

Principal Bell pursued his higher education at Minnesota State University, Mankato, majoring in Elementary Education with an emphasis on Middle School Mathematics.

He began his teaching career in the Farmington School District, dedicating eight years to teaching Fifth Grade. During this period, he furthered his expertise by earning a Master's Degree in Teaching and Learning and a Specialist Degree in Educational Administration from St. Mary's University. Following his time in the classroom, Principal Bell served for five years as the Principal of Cannon Falls Elementary School in Cannon Falls, Minnesota.

Principal Bell resides in Lakeville with his wife, Lindsay, and their three daughters. The Bell family cherishes their time together, enjoying trips to parks, playing outdoors and simply being silly with one another. In his personal time, Principal Bell enjoys reading (especially children's books!), golfing, billiards and spending time with friends.
