The 2026-27 Middle School Registration window is almost open. We've provided some tools to use in planning for the upcoming school year. In addition to the course descriptions offered, school counselors and teachers are available for guidance during this important process.

Shakopee Public Schools has invested in a K-5 Comprehensive Literacy Framework to ensure each and every student builds a strong foundation of reading and writing skills. Elementary students also now have more opportunities for hands-on math and science with the addition of STEM to the specialist rotation.

Starting in the 2026–27 school year (Fall 2026), Shakopee Community Education will fully manage operations of the K–5 School-Age Care Program currently provided by the YMCA.
